Q. What programs need to be installed to use this feature?
A. All the programs that need to be installed are quick and easy to download - and they are free! A link to download the software is included on the Safetylogic system (i.e., Microsoft's Active Sync)

Q. What's the advantage of using the Mobile Audit/Self Assessment feature versus just using the regular Audit/Self Assessment feature on the Safetylogic system?
A. The systems are identical. The only difference is that by using the Mobile Audits/Self Assessments feature audits can be conducted while walking around a facility, and you do not have to be connected to the Internet.

Q. Are there audits pre-loaded on the Safetylogic system written for specific industries?
A. Yes! Safetylogic has specific audits for most industries.

Q. Who has written the Audits/Self Assessments on the system?
A. The Audis/Self Assessments have been written by certified safety professionals working for Safetylogic or for one of it's affiliates or partners.

Q. My facility already has an Audit that we have been using for years. Can we get this loaded onto Safetylogic?
A. Yes! Safetylogic can take your existing audit, and then web-enable it, which gives you powerful tools such as action item tracking, compliance reporting, and more!

Q. I read through an Audit on the Safetylogic system, and it was very good, however, I was wondering if I can customize a few questions for my location, can this be done?
A. Yes! We can take any pre-loaded Safetylogic audit/self assessment, and make modifications to any of the questions you wish.

Q. Which handheld devices (PDAs) work with the Safetylogic system?
A. Our system supports PDAs that run Microsoft's Windows CE software and Pocket PC.

Q. How does the Safetylogic system know when to generate an action item based on an answer given in an Audit/Self Assessment?
A. For most question types, Safetylogic has determined a "preferred answer" and a "non-preferred answer". So if the question is answered with the non-preferred answer an Action Item would automatically be generated.

Q. How does the system know if an Action Item has been resolved or not?
A. Once an action item has been generated, there are several reports that can be run using the system to determine if it has been resolved or not.

Q. I am responsible for conducting audits at multiple locations in my region. Can I conduct the same audit for multiple locations?
A. Safetylogic has created an "Auditor" role, which allows you to select the location you want and the audit you want to conduct for that location. Once you submit the audit all actions will be tracked at that location.
