Resource Library: Frequently Asked Questions

Below we have listed some common questions about our Resource Library feature. If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Q. Who has written the materials in the Resource Library pre-loaded on the system?
A. All the materials have been written by safety and risk control professionals working for Safetylogic or for one of our affiliates or partners.

Q. Is there an easy way to print out materials in the Resource Library?
A. Yes, you can print out any of our content easily with the click of a button (just as you would print other documents to your printer).

Q. I am the Safety Director for my company, and I see a piece of content in the fire safety area that has been pre-loaded onto the system by the Safetylogic experts - am I able to make some modifications to your materials, and then re-load the content back to the system?
A. Yes! You can add logos, or any information. In this case you might want to add the fire evacuation plan, and load a separate document for each location on Safetylogic!

Q. My organization has two written programs that we just updated last month. Can these be loaded onto the Safetylogic system?
A. Yes, either Safetylogic can load them for you, or you can load them yourself (using the "Manage Content" feature).

Q. I am the Risk Manager for my company, can I send an updated policy to our locations to review?
A. Once your updated policy is loaded to the Safetylogic system, you can distribute the policy to all locations on the system. Once you send the distribution, the item will appear as an Open Item on each locations "To-do" list (and an e-mail notification will be sent to each location). The document will also reside in the Safetylogic Resource Library for the locations to view at any time.

Q. Is there a way to check who has opened and viewed a particular piece of content on the system?
A. Yes. We can turn on the "tracking" feature for any piece of content in the Resource Library. Then using the Reports area, an Administrator can see who has accessed which documents.
