Safety Meetings: How It Works For You

How the Safety Meeting function works:
The Prepare Meeting function allows you to easily plan and record meetings specific to your business and site location needs. The Meeting feature can be used for both safety meetings and other types of meetings. This feature also allows you to record and track action items that have originated from the meetings.

Online Safety And Risk Management Courses Safetylogic allows you to plan and prepare two types of meetings:
A General Meeting, which is a template that is populated by the user, and
A Specific Meeting, which is selected from a listed a prepared Meeting Topics

The General Meeting feature is for any type of meeting which is not safety related. This can include HR, planning and scheduling, project meetings, or department meetings. The application allows you to easily document and record your meeting.

The Safety Meeting feature helps you to plan any meetings relating to safety. After clicking this link you can select from a list of prepared safety meeting topics.

OSHA Recordkeeping Compliance

After selecting the topic for your meeting you will be taken to the Prepare Meeting screen. This will allow you to quickly record all relevant information about the meeting, including:

1. Meeting Topic
Use this tab to enter the name, date, start and end time of the meeting. After the meeting has taken place, you can return to this tab and adjust the information if necessary.

2. Meeting Materials
This feature provides a variety of prepared topics and related safety links for your meeting.

3. Attendance
After a meeting has been conducted, use this tab to indicate who was present and/or absent from the meeting. It also indicates who held and recorded the meeting. The Manage Members button allows you to create and delete names of regular meeting attendees, allowing you to quickly populate the attendance field.

4. Action Items
This feature allows you to record action items assigned during the meeting. The assigned action items will be displayed on the Open Items list of the person who held the meeting, and will also be recorded on the Action Items report.

5. Meeting Notes
This is where you enter meeting minutes, as required by OSHA.

All of this data is archived and can be retrieved and printed with the click of a button.
